600-lb Stone Tub Install in a Stone Oak Primary Bathroom image

This one was a serious lift - literally. We installed a 600-lb stone tub in a primary bathroom out in Stone Oak, and a job like this isn't just about getting the tub in the room. It's about making sure everything underneath and behind the wall is set up correctly before that fixture ever settles into place.

Wall-mount tub fillers like the one you see here require precise in-wall plumbing rough-in. The supply lines have to be perfectly positioned - too far off and the filler sits crooked, valves leak, or you're looking at a redo. We don't leave that to chance. Getting the plumbing right the first time is the whole point.

The weight of a stone tub also changes what's required from a structural and positioning standpoint. You can't just slide it around once it's down. Every measurement and every connection has to be confirmed before the tub goes in. That kind of prep work is what separates a clean finish from a costly callback.

The end result speaks for itself. Clean lines, a properly seated tub, and a wall-mount filler that sits exactly where it should. The marble tile surround and built-in niche pull the whole space together, and none of it works if the plumbing behind the walls isn't done right.

Big fixtures like this are a specialty. Whether it's a freestanding soaker, a stone tub, or an oversized shower system, the fixture services side of a bathroom upgrade only looks effortless when the plumbing work backing it up is solid.
